The UK has been working very hard for Immigration Audit over the past 1 years. UK Immigration Minister who announced they will suspend the application of the Golden Visa from 7 December 2018. Transparency International published a report in October investigating the issue of the Golden Visa as part of the fight against corruption. According to the report, Spain, Hungary, Latvia, Portugal and the UK are the countries that use the’ golden visa ‘ application the most. The list includes Greece, Cyprus and Malta. From now on, migrants who don’t follow the rules and use the system maliciously will never be given concessions. These inspections have been carried out in every country, but in the UK this year has started to be done very often. This practice aims to control unregulated migrants.

What is UK Immigration Audit?

The UK Government is imposing a comprehensive financial account audit requirement on the bank accounts of business people who wish to apply for a Gold Visa. Under the new regulation, the golden visa must be renewed every two years, and the authority of business people to receive mutual funds is abolished, making it a requirement to invest in British firms that actively engage in account mobility and trade. The new government set up in the UK plans to toughen border controls, removing the EU’s immigration and Settlement Regulation from practice after the country’s separation from the European Union (EU) (Brexit) process is complete. A new and fair immigration system will be implemented, the interior ministry said in a statement. According to the statement, the new immigration regulation will take into account the contribution of those who wish to settle in the country by looking at their ability, not their origin, but rather their contribution to the country.

Rules of Immigration in UK

The new government in the UK, led by Boris Johnson, plans to toughen border controls, removing the EU from implementing immigration and Settlement Regulation after the completion of the country’s separation from the European Union (EU) (Brexit) process. The Tier 1 visa, also known as the’ golden visa’, was previously being offered to business people investing two million pounds worth in the UK. Thanks to the golden visa application, business people were getting the right to sign in the UK for five years and the right to free movement in the Schengen area. In 2017, mainly Russian and Chinese business people applied for over a thousand applications. There was a 46 per cent increase in golden visa applications last July, with more than 400 people seeking to benefit from the application. In addition, some strict rules apply to normal immigrants. In 2019, Immigration Audit started to increase. EU nationals currently living in the UK will be able to apply for a residence permit from October 31 until the end of 2020, when Brexit is projected to take place.
